Student and Young Professional Welcome Luncheon

Students and Young Professionals (YPs) (those 35 and younger or with less than 5 years of experience in the solid waste and recycling industry) are invited to this peer networking lunch. Lunch is provided at no cost and all attendees receive an extra drink ticket for the Monday evening reception. River Boat Cruise

8-10 p.m.

Monday evening after the Welcome Reception, the conference is offering a River Cruise from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for only $20. Transportation will be offered from the Convention Center to the riverboat and back. Food and beverages will be provided as a part of the cruise. Capacity is limited so make your reservation when you register for the conference!

Exhibit Hall Open House

During these hours, the Exhibit Hall is open to the public or guests of attendees and exhibitors, regardless of whether they have registered for the conference. Free admission and cash bar available.

Silent and Live Auctions
The silent auction will open Monday, September 30 at 5 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall. It will conclude Tuesday, October 1 during the afternoon break.

Student Sponsorship
College students can apply to receive a sponsorship to attend the conference. The sponsorship includes conference registration and lodging.

At this conference, you can have the opportunity to network, learn about best practices and discuss solid waste and recycling issues and policies that affect our communities. The conference attracts a variety of individual occupations from policy makers, engineers, planners, scientists, managers, marketing, and other environmental science fields.
